Self-confidence is a state of mind that can be achieved through intentional action. Allotting time to nurture your mind, body and spirit (preferably one hour a day) can be done in a variety of ways. Are you brave enough to claim your independence? Independence Day is annually celebrated on July 4 in the United States and is often known as “the Fourth of July”. It is the anniversary of the publication of the declaration of independence from Great Britain in 1776 when they were treated unfairly. Patriotic displays and family events are organized throughout the United States.

Should you explain yourself? It depends. Do you need to clarify what you’ve said or done? Do you need to defend yourself? Is it necessary to defend yourself? What do you want to do?
At first thought, the need to explain myself, sends shivers down my spine. It means to me that I made a mistake and have to come up with reasons why I made it. Feelings of inferiority and shame come to mind. Lack of self-esteem were the reason for these feelings.
