Life is difficult sometimes! It’s been a little over three weeks since my mother passed away. It seems much longer. Many thoughts, good and bad, creep into my mind. I’ve been doing what I need to do, but I still feel that I’m in a daze.
My emotions are running all over the place. Sadness, grief, regret, and family issues keep bubbling up. I have periods of crying that seem to just come up. I still can’t believe my mother is gone. I called my mother everyday. It seems strange to not do that anymore. My life has changed and I’m having a difficult time dealing with it. Continue reading “Life is difficult sometimes!”
I write this post with a heavy heart and tears in my eyes. If you recall, I wrote a post about needing your input about my mother’s upcoming 90th birthday.
I was conflicted about what to do about having her birthday party on the exact day, July 10th, which was on a Thursday. My sister’s wanted to celebrate on the weekend because of work schedules. I didn’t feel right about this and asked for your opinion.

Are you brave enough to claim your independence? Independence Day is annually celebrated on July 4 in the United States and is often known as “the Fourth of July”. It is the anniversary of the publication of the declaration of independence from Great Britain in 1776 when they were treated unfairly. Patriotic displays and family events are organized throughout the United States.

Does technology stress you out? More news has been coming out about the various effects of technology on our world. For some, it’s had an amazing contribution to their lives. For others, it’s detracting from their real life interactions with others.
