#Highly Sensitive People: Is there too much waste in your life?

There isn’t a country in the world that wouldn’t be more prosperous and happier if it didn’t contribute so much of its energy to waste. In our daily lives this is also true.

We read of the waste in government and wonder why we are heavily taxed. Could it be that the powers that be are spending more time campaigning and less time being the good stewards of our money? Maybe we’re spending too much money on programs that aren’t efficient or needed.

We waste our earnings in the purchase of non-essential things. We waste our time on useless worry. We deplete our strength on bitter arguments and misunderstandings.

Here are some other wasteful choices. They include:

* Focusing on what you don’t want to happen.

* Holding on to anger. Never forgiving anyone.

* Complaining about problems and never doing anything to solve them.

* Taking everyone seriously and everything personally.

By dispensing with waste you simplify your life. An example of  living simply may mean not buying things you can’t afford. This eliminates the worry of living beyond your means. Thinking simply will help you understand yourself and your needs. You can better communicate what you want. This will eliminate the frustration you feel from others when they overstep your boundaries.

Is there too much waste in your life? Can you relate to any of the above listed? I’m interested in any thoughts or comments that you have.
