What is happiness for you?

What brings you joy? Have you ever taken the time to think about it? How can you be happy if you don’t know or appreciate what brings you bliss?

Highly sensitive people have a unique deep-thinking ability to appreciate life more fully. Why not use this natural resource? Here’s one of many tips from my new book, Real World Advice Specifically For Highly Sensitive People, Volume 2.

Happiness is not something to be possessed. Happiness is not just owning a brand new car or having nice clothes. It’s a state of mind to be enjoyed. Are you happy with yourself? Do you have meaningful relationships? It’s important to realize that your “work” changes as you go through the different stages of life. Your work comes in different forms such as being a good mother, father, grandparent, friend, mentor, having a hobby, etc., as well as the traditional types of work where you earn a living.

What brings you happiness? I’m interested in any thoughts or comments that you have.
